Reading the Chart
The middle of the two bars represents the percentage of representatives who are women in that legislature.
The bars on either side represent what this percentage would be with the Best Contributor (BC) absent, and with the Worst Contributor (WC) absent.
Where the bars are larger, this means there is a larger difference at the party level.
A large blue bar means that there is one party that is responsible for raising the overall level of representation.
A large orange bar means that there is one party making the representation of women lower than it would be otherwise.
