These pages show the breakdown of FOI requests sent from WhatDoTheyKnow broken down by the sectors defined in WhatDoTheyKnow.

Some authorities (69) are listed in multiple sectors and are counted twice - so values below add up to more than 100% of requests made. Deduplicated totals are shown under 'Unique Requests' in the table.

Central government bodies are split between those covered by the Cabinet Office statistics and those not. The slight discrepancy between audited central government here and on the website results from when the Cabinet Office has at some point released information for a body (so counts as an ‘audited’ body for our purposes), but then in another year has not. In those years the absent statistic is not processed or matched against its WhatDoTheyKnow count for the website — but is counted here.
